Combining art with activism, Crooke’s photography empowers viewers and participants alike, showing women and non-binary bodies how they deserve to be seen, as works of art through the female lens in her constant fight for women’s body reclamation. WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR BUSINESS SLOWS DOWN

Tuesday, September 24, 2024 @ 3pm

I am a professional boudoir photographer at OWN Boudoir Studio in
Atlanta, GA! Photography has been my career since 2009 and I’ve been photographing boudoir exclusively since 2012. My business took off in 2010 when I offered a Groupon deal that sold 2000+ vouchers. It taught me some VERY valuable business lessons and helped me find the boudoir genre. Since beginning my boudoir career in 2012 I’ve photographed over 2000 clients in 16 different states and 6 different countries.

I’ve seen slow downs, creative shifts, social changes, and various consumer patterns over the last 15 years that have challenged me to adapt my business and creativity to what life throws at us. I can’t wait to discuss all that I’ve learned and help others adapt and prepare for the road ahead.

In my free time I’m learning how to cook, reading fantasy novels, and traveling with my partner in our RV with our 2 British Shorthair cats!
