Shannon K Dougherty is a Boudoir and Portrait Photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri. She started her creative career as a fine art painter before falling in love with photography.

Olesha Haskett
INTIMACY AND CONSENT WITH COUPLES
Wednesday, September 25, 2024 (2 sessions in Club House)
Olesha Haskett is an internationally recognized keynote speaker, photography educator, founder, international boudoir photographer, and published author with a Bachelor of Fine Art and a Master’s in Business Administration. She has over 12 years of experience as a professional photographer. Her purpose in life is to guide Black women in their journey of self-love, beauty, and pleasure. This is accomplished by sharing her story of redefining antiquated beauty standards and centering pleasure. At the same time, offering a soft space for Black Womxn to define their version of sensuality and sexuality through workshops, retreats, collaborations, and boudoir experiences.
In 2019 she founded The Coterie Noir, formerly Boudoir For Black Womxn, an educational community for Black boudoir photographers across the globe. The Coterie Noir is now an inclusive educational boudoir community that fundamentally changes how the broader boudoir photography community captures Black womxn’s essence. They host ongoing professional development, educational workshops, and retreats led by culturally competent educators on posing strategic marketing, embodiment, etc.
In 2023 she created and launched The Coterie Credential Program (CCP) to certify boudoir photographers in capturing Black women as they are without bias. The modules include Black feminism, hair, makeup, colorism, intersectionality in body positivity, ethical considerations in retouching, and allyship.
Misty Moss is a boudoir photographer, self portrait artist, and burlesque performer in Victoria, Canada. Specializing in helping her clients see themselves as powerful works of art since 2016, she has honed in on helping others experience their own body celebration story after discovering the transformative (and frankly mildly addicting) powers of empowerment, embodiment, and self liberation that these art forms offer.
She sees both photographing her clients and educating other photographers as a mutual energy exchange that plants seeds for transformational shifts to lead to a more self-liberated and full af life that mimics art itself.

SHOOTING AND EDITING DARK AND MOODY IMAGES WITH HUMANS OF COLOR
Thursday, September 26, (2 sessions in Dog House)
Chantelle Dione Enns is an award winning empowerment portrait photographer based just outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Having picked up her first camera “with purpose” in 2011, she made the decision to transition from wedding photography to portraits in 2020.
After being launched into her full time photography career at 40 in late 2021, Chantelle launched her first “40 over 40” campaign in early 2022. She was so deeply changed by her client’s stories and their experiences as aging women, she began to dedicate her career to the nuanced art of photographing women over 40. From Boudoir, Branding, to empowering Fine Art Portraiture, Chantelle‘s holistic approach and light handed editing techniques bring her clients through a full circle moment to embody confidence and self love in their personal imagery.

GETTING THAT CANDID EMOTIONAL SHOT
Wednesday, September 25, 2024 (2 sessions in Dog House)
Coming from a decade of experience and a desire for excellence, I have built a reputation for delivering stunning images. I would say two things have shaped me into the photographer I am today. One is shooting weddings (don’t recommend lol) and two is directing and assisting with music videos.
Being a wedding photographer taught me the art of shooting quickly and under pressure. I had to learn to anticipate the perfect shot, change my settings with lighting speed and position myself for the best angles, all before it actually unfolded. As a music video director it taught me to slow down, how to create cinematic lighting, and truly enriched my storytelling abilities. This enables me to create images embody depth and authenticity.
Over the years and shooting ALL the genres I have found my calling in capturing the essence of a woman. I enjoy celebrating everything stage of life we go through. A few of my favorites are branding, maternity, motherhood, and boudoir.
I am so grateful for the experiences and memories I have created, the lesson I have learned, and the relationships I have built. My passion for photography is still burning brightly and I look forward to many more years in the world of photography, art, and education.
